Shotgun meets at the far left outdoor range on the first and
third Sundays year round, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm weather permitting.
We start 09:00 sharp.
Course of Fire is 25 clays from the left stand then we switch stands and shoot
25 clays from the right stand, for a grand total of 50 birds.
The manual bird throwers are manned by League members on a rotation basis, so
everyone is expected to help-out.
The throwers are adjusted for various aerial presentations, including
challenging doubles (if called for by the shooter).
Please bring 50 shells (2 boxes) of #7 thru #9 birdshot and a shotgun that
you're familiar with and accepts the shells you're bringing. Pumps, Semi-Autos,
and Double Barrels are all welcome.
All club safety rules and common sense gun handling applies, so please know your
shotgun. Clay birds are supplied by the League.
Cost is only $10.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members.
An annual Turkey Shoot is held every November, with the high scoring shooter
winning the turkey.
Other special events may be announced (on an as-needed basis) to League
participants in attendance.
